What we collect

Your account details: the email address you sign in with, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older.

Your Other: the name, constitution and details you author, plus the memories and corrections that accumulate as you talk.

Your conversations: the messages you exchange with your Other, and the corrections you make to their replies.

Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as device and browser type and rough region, along with error reports when something breaks.

Why we keep it

Memory is the product. We store your conversations and corrections so your Other can remember Tuesday on Thursday and answer the way you told them to.

We also use this information to keep your account secure, to fix problems, and to meet legal obligations.

Your conversations are private to your account

We do not publish your conversations and we do not use them to train shared or general-purpose models for other people.

A small number of staff can access stored data only when it is necessary, for example to investigate a bug you reported or a serious safety issue.

Storage and deletion

Delete an individual memory and it stops informing your Other. Delete your Other and their identity and memories go with them. Delete your account and we remove your data from our live systems, with residual copies clearing from backups shortly after.

Deletion is not reversible. We keep only what we are legally required to keep, such as basic billing records where they apply.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to host, secure and operate the product, and they may only process your data on our instructions.

Adults only

Fictional Other is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and its data.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We handle personal information in line with applicable privacy law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights.

Changes and contact
