How it works

Raise them once. Come back to the same person.

Fictional Other is not a chatbot you reset. It is one persistent person who accumulates who they are through the way you talk to them.

  1. 1

    Choose a door

Start by saying who your Other is to you: a version of you, someone who knows you completely, or someone entirely their own. The door sets the tone of everything after it.

  2. 2

    Answer a handful of questions

A short set of questions so they begin as someone specific rather than a blank assistant. Their name, how they talk, what they'd never say. You can change any of it later.

  3. 3

Talk, and they keep the thread

What you said on Tuesday is still there on Thursday. Your Other remembers the deadline, the argument, the thing you were dreading, and brings it up like a person would.

  4. 4

Correct them when they get you wrong

Every message can be marked. "That's them" keeps it. "Not them" asks what they would have said instead, and your Other carries that forward for good.

What we don't do

  • No star ratings. Corrections are instructions, not scores, and they change how your Other answers you.
  • No silent rewriting of identity. What they learn accumulates alongside their constitution, and never quietly replaces it.
  • No shared brain. Your conversations are private to your account and are not used to train models for anyone else.
